Celebrating the life of

Patricia Lincoln Beasley

August 16, 1941 - November 29, 2024

Patricia Lincoln Beasley

Patricia Lincoln Beasley, 83, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024 in her home under Hospice care due to her long, suffering illness of COPD.  Pat was born on August 16, 1941 in Savannah, Ga to Annabelle Harrellson Lincoln and William Robert Lincoln. She graduated from Commercial High School in Savannah.  Pat married Isaiah Hubert Beasley on November 23, 1957 in Savannah, Ga and had two children, Anne de la Sierra (Frank) and Bo Beasley (Suzanne).  They built a life together in Savannah enjoying hunting, boating, playing cards and their annual visit to Clarks Hill Lake. She also enjoyed her beach cottage at Tybee Island and spent many weekends there.  Pat loved her family, adored her granddaughters, and doted on her great grandchildren.

Pat worked as the office manager of the Savannah Golf Club for more than 46 years. She said she was proud to be a staff member of the prestigious Savannah Golf Club and that its history and devotion to its members is what inspired her to work there.  Everyone at the Golf Club knew and loved her.

Throughout her lifetime she was a member of the Alee Temple, and specifically the Oriental Band.  She enjoyed all the travel and parties offered by the Temple as well as taking her grandchildren to all of its functions.  She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elks and frequented their dances, and dinners and card games with her many friends.  She is a member of the White Bluff Methodist Church.

After the death of her husband, Hubert, in 2009, she went on to marry Kenneth Trout.  She and Ken enjoyed many years together, however, she died a widow. She is survived by her two children and their spouses, her sister, June Curts of North Carolina, her grandchildren, Amanda Long (Chris), Maggie de la Sierra Schneider, Sarah Curry (John) and Mercedes de la Sierra (Nataly), and 7 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Fox and Weeks Chapel on Hodgson Memorial on Thursday, December 5th, at 11:00 with a funeral service to follow at 12:00.  Interment will occur at a later date with a private family service at Bonaventure Cemetery.

GUEST BOOK

Very sorry for the loss of your mother ,grandmother, great grand mother. She was very nice lady that I got a chance to know when I was young and working summers with my uncle Bobby Ashley at the Savannah Golf Club. Then a few years later as an adult I started working with her son Bo at Savannah Gas Company. This past year I helped her Bo do a few things at her house and I was able to spend sometime on the porch talking with Mrs. Beasley about old times. I really enjoyed those conversations and will always remember them. I know there is a big hole in your heart right now. But with time the hole will get smaller but it will always be there. We just have to remember we hurt but she doesn't anymore and that's what matters most!

Just now read Pats Obituary. My heart breaks reading this. I would have shown my respect had I known. Pat and I shared many Good times together at the Elks. Shared a lot of thoughts together. She will truly be missed. She loved her family dearly, and those Grandbabies. I am so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
